Would like more themes, still happy

Light/dark and the layout blocks cover a lot. I'd love one more compact list style out of the box. That said, I'd buy it again — beats maintaining five plugins that break after every WordPress update.

Solid for a tools directory

Built a ranked AI tools list. Categories map cleanly to “best X for Y” pages. Review pages for top entries are optional which is perfect — not every tool needs a long write-up.

Admin is simple in a good way

I'm not a developer. My brother helped with the first install, then I took over adding entries. Sorting, categories, and affiliate links are clear enough that I don't open a ticket every week.

AI drafts are a nice bonus

I still edit everything myself, but the AI helpers for entry descriptions cut the blank-page time. Useful when you're seeding 30+ tools in a category and don't want robot copy published as-is.

Worth it vs another custom build

Quoted a freelancer for a custom toplist CMS and it was several times the license price with longer delivery. Bought this instead. Not every edge case is covered, but 90% of what I need is there day one.

Good for niche “best of” sites

Running a small hosting comparison site. The layout editor saved me from hiring a front-end person for v1. Rankings are manual which I actually prefer — I don't want auto-sorted junk from submissions.

Exactly what I wanted for affiliate lists

Every Visit button can take a tracking URL. Outbound clicks show up in analytics. That's the whole model for my SaaS roundups. Wish the docs had one more screenshot for custom CSS, but I figured it out.

Finally replaced my WordPress plugin stack

I spent weeks fighting directory plugins and page builders. Installed Toplist Script on a fresh VPS Friday night and had a VPN comparison list live by Sunday. Admin is straightforward — categories, entries, Visit URLs. Not flashy, just does the job.

Cleaner than the SaaS directories I tried

Tried two hosted directory tools first. Monthly fees added up and I didn't own anything. One-time license here was the tipping point. Self-hosted, my data, my rankings. Setup took an afternoon with their docs.

Faster pages than my old WP theme

Moved an old plugin directory off WordPress. Core Web Vitals stopped being a weekly fire drill. Still doing my own SEO, but the base markup is sane and I can actually iterate.

Support replied the same day

Had a rewrite issue on Apache after install. Emailed support with my error log and got a clear fix within a few hours. Product feels maintained, not abandoned CodeCanyon stuff.

License for multiple sites helped

I run two niches under different domains. One license covering sites I operate mattered more than a cheaper plugin locked to one install. Delivery email arrived same day after PayPal.
